A Forming Community

  • We believe that God created humans intentionally and beautifully. With a mind, spirit, body, emotions, relationships, etc. Our desire is to see individuals and our community flourish through emotional and psychological health, spiritual formation, deep relationships, and to experience all our humanity.

  • As rates of anxiety, depression, and frenetic living continually become normative, we are a community who are trying to live a rhythmic life patterned after Jesus. We do this through practicing a 24 hour sabbath, slow meals around a table, room for silence & solitude, Scripture, and opening our lives to the Holy Spirit.

  • Since we have been created holistically, we are a community that is reforming how men and women relate to each other and live relationally. As well as ensuring that everyone can use their gifts, talents, and presence within the church. Including all levels of leadership and influence.

  • We believe humans are deeply emotional beings, hardwired to be in relationship with God, ourselves, and others. Our name The Table comes from a passion to see people be in a transformative relationship with God, find healing, self-awareness, and growing in wholeness with themselves, and learning to live life with intentionality in healthy relationships with others.

  • We believe every human wants to understand their purpose, value, and worth. And the church at times unfortunately has not been a helpful place for people to slowly and thoughtfully process through existential questions, pain, church hurt, or whatever questions you carry. Through relationship, questions, and time, we desire to create a safe community to process together.

  • We believe the presence of God to heal, save, encourage, convict, and more is available to us and is of permanent importance. Therefore we prioritize and slow and spacious way of gathering to pursue and enjoy the presence of God individually and together in a culture obsessed with technique, pragmatism, and an over emphasis on efficiency.

  • We believe that God is a divine storyteller. We see this all through the pages of Scripture and through history. We believe that God still heals, redeems, removes shame, and brings people closer together through the power of story.
